writer, artist with a warrior soul, immortal until proven otherwise.

I was born and raised in the New Orleans area and hold two degrees from Louisiana State University in Theatre and Mass Communication.  I moved to Chicago immediately after graduating to pursue theatre. During that time, I studied acting, martial arts, and fitness, making personal training, yoga, and kickboxing my dayjobs. I transitioned more seriously into fiction writing before I left Chicago after studying at The Writer’s Loft.

I relocated to Nashville just before the pandemic. I am a narrator at Onyx Publications, using my acting experience to bring life to short stories. A member of International Thriller Writers and Sisters In Crime, I am also active with the Nashville Novelists and Richland Park Library Writers’ Groups.

My writing always has an element of fantasy, whether it’s a ghost in the real world or a completely new planet filled with aliens and unicorns. I like strong female protagonists, witty dialogue, and characters you want to hang out with. And there’s usually a charming animal in there somewhere. (The animals never die.)
