Looking forward to hanging out with Melissa and chatting about her fun romance, Where You Lead. We’ll be at one of our favorite bookstores, Plenty Downtown Bookshop in Cookville. Come hang out!

I’ll be hanging out with three other amazing authors who all wrote ghosty books! Come see us!

Brain chemistry can affect how we do the things we love. There's nothing more frustrating than making the time to write, sitting down, and being unable to focus. We'll explore why this feels difficult right now and go over a few techniques to change things up and get you writing again. There will be no pressure to share work or personal struggles in class, but it will be a safe space if you choose to do so.

So excited to join Bound Booksellers to celebrate Bookstore Romance Day! The multi-author conversation starts at 4:30pm followed by a signing at 5:30pm. Then after a break, we come back at 7pm for Rom-Com Pictionary! Free to come!

Every word in your story has a job to do and dialogue often works double time. After all, backstory and information are often much more digestible in dialogue than slogging through blocks of prose. Together, we'll explore techniques to keep your dialogue both informative and conversational, both despensing necessary information and keeping your character's voice and personality intact!

Looking forward to checking out another new (to me) bookstore! I’ll be signing copies of A Dagger of Lightning and A Horn of Onyx with character art for each book, of course! Hope to see you there!

I love finding new indie stores and this one has been open for just a year! Come see me at Honey Rock Books and Cafe where I’ll be signing books and likely slinging a giveaway. :)

Excited to visit Good Girl Books in Knoxville for the first time! I’ll be signing at their anniversary event and can’t wait to see this store I’ve heard so many good things about.

This will be my first time in Knoxville! I’m looking forward to meeting readers and seeing the city! More info as it becomes available!

Take a class with me at The Porch!

Have you ever finished a book and instantly missed the characters? And yet other books you can barely remember their names when you try to tell someone what you've read. In this class we'll explore how to color your characters to make them connect with your readers and breathe life into the page.

If you know me, you know Lauren is one of my favorites. And we are hilarious when we chat. Everyone should come listen to us. Also, Lexington and Joseph Beth are fantastic combinations!

I love this bookstore and Emily Jane! I cannot wait to revisit gorgeous Cincinnati to introduce A Horn Of Onyx to new readers! More info as it becomes available!

Looking forward to returning to Auburn Oil Booksellers with A Horn of Onyx this spring! Come visit this charming little bookstore right off campus!

I’m so looking forward to participating in the first ever Festival of Literature at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. I will have copies of Ghost Tamer, A Dagger of Lightning and A Horn of Onyx and hope to even have a few paperbacks of the anthology Fighting Words that I have a short story in. Looking forward to meeting this community!

I’m so excited to be visiting this gorgeous little bookstore again and to be in conversation with Melissa Grace! Her contemporary romances are awesome, so you can pick up more than just A Horn of Onyx when you see us! And Plenty is one of the legit most beautiful bookstores I’ve been in.

So looking forward to both the road trip and the conversation with Sarah Brown, owner of Bound Booksellers—check them out if you haven’t—who will be talking A Horn of Onyx with me at FoxTale books in Georgia!

I’m excited to head back to Storybook Cottage for a signing to celebrate A Horn of Onyx’s release! Come see me and get your fix after that A Dagger of Lightning cliffhanger!

I cannot wait to celebrate the release of A Horn of Onyx with you! This is my very first sequel and whew, what a ride. I’ll be in conversation with Erica Ivy Rogers, who just released the second of her Waking Hearts duology, and of course, my mom will be making cookies again. The event is free but please RSVP so Parnassus knows how many to expect!

I cannot wait to attend Wine and Words, hosted by Plenty Downtown Bookshop. If you haven’t visited Plenty, you absolutely must. It is the cutest store I’ve ever seen. The Wine and Words event takes place at DelMonaco Winery and is an entire weekend of authors, panels, books, and wine. What could be better? More details as they emerge!

Really looking forward to attending the Houston County Library’s book club event! Apparently some of them dress up like cosplayers! I asked, and I am allowed to wear my sword. If you’re in the area, I hope you’ll stop by! For more information, visit the library’s website.

There’s an entire day of fun fantasy events at Parnassus! My portion will be at the end of the day at 4pm where I will be reading relationship cards. I’ll be able to tell the hear and now of any relationship—real life or with your favorite fantasy character—using cards. The only information you need to give me is what the person identifies as: he/she/they. Of course I’m willing to sell any books you may purchase at the time.

So excited to participate in my first event in Knoxville! I’ve actually never been to Knoxville before! I’ve heard AMAZING things about Good Girl Books and cannot wait to participate in the indie bookstore crawl with them. More info as we get closer!

So excited to venture to this adorable small town just 30 minutes from Nashville to celebrate their bookstore’s expansion opening with four other amazing authors! I’ll be signing copies of Ghost Tamer and A Dagger of Lightning (and giving away an ARC of the sequel, A Horn of Onyx). And sharing space with Lauren Thoman (Adult/YA speculative), Lucille James (romance), RJ Jacobs (psychological thriller), and Julian Vaca (YA SciFi). I cannot wait!

Looking forward to participating in this conference again! I’ll be speaking on the fantasy panel: From Myth to Manuscript, A Fantasy Writer’s Journey, at 3pm!

So excited to be participating in this awesome festival again! I was there last year for the first time and it was amazing. The Cincinnati library is beautiful! Everyone should check it out. Maybe during Books by the Banks?? :-)

Excited to be a featured author at the Louisiana Book Festival in Baton Rouge! More info as things get closer.

I’ve done PumpkinFest one other time and we got hit with a torrential downpour! Hoping for less of that this time around! Come see me at the Middle Tennessee Author’s Circle tent! I’ll have copies of Ghost Tamer and A Dagger of Lightning.

I’m thrilled to have Ghost Tamer included in the Author Parade for the Chicago Public Library Awards this year, honoring books with a Chicago Connection. Dean and I have been invited to attend the awards dinner and it will be so nice to say hello to Big Shoulders again for a day while celebrating my “first born” near her second birthday.
